PACE is hosting its first Advanced Online Open Event, a free, live event designed to showcase our new flexible advanced courses designed for professionals.
Taking place online on Wednesday, 16th July, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, this interactive event introduces three of PACE’s newly launched courses:
- Fashion Marketing and Communication
- Digital Communication Design
- UX/UI Design
Delivered through a series of webinars, the open event is an opportunity to explore how these advanced courses are designed to support working professionals in gaining future-ready skills while balancing their existing commitments.

What to Expect on the Day
Attendees can join one or more of the following course sessions:
10:00 AM – 10:40 AM | Fashion Marketing and Communication
Gain strategic and creative insight into how brands communicate in the fashion industry. Explore campaign development, content creation, and consumer engagement in a global context.
12:00 PM – 12:40 PM | Digital Communication Design
Explore the principles of digital communication design, including UX, UI, interaction and information design, focusing on inclusive, user-centred, and globally aware digital storytelling.
2:00 PM – 2:40 PM | UX/UI Design
Learn how to design impactful digital products by mastering the whole UX/UI process, from user research through to prototyping and final delivery — all with accessibility at the core.
The course’s academic lead will lead each session and will provide detailed insight into the curriculum, assessment approach, weekly time commitments, and the professional outcomes you can expect.
Designed for Working Professionals
Each course requires a time commitment of approximately 8–10 hours per week over a 14-week period. Courses are structured to be both flexible and focused, allowing professionals to build new capabilities around their existing commitments.
Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate from the University of Leeds, a world-leading institution renowned for academic excellence and innovation in digital education.
